DEEP FRIED combines the queer coming of age of Naoise Dolan’s Exciting Times with the messy drama of Diana Reid’s Love & Virtue and will have booktok girlies who love The Secret History arguing over who was right and who was wrong.

The Twelfth Day is a short story written by Liana Black, shortlisted and originally published by the Australian Writer’s Centre. The comedic story tells the frazzling tale of Carol Sings who finally sets out to get rid of her fabled Christmas stalker.
Unfinished - a poem
Unfinished reflects the joy one receives when they give up perfectionism and negative self-talk. To paraphrase Elizabeth, the question ‘Who do you think you are?’ is rather gorgeous when you take away the snarling tone in your head.
